Should those under 21 be allowed to work in a pot shop? One state lawmaker says so. State Representative Kevin Coleman of Westland wants to change the law to allow those under 21 to enter the cannabis industry. He’s introduced a bill which he says is gaining support.

“We have a lot of young people who are even majoring in cannabis related fields who are unable to participate in the industry,” Coleman said.

Coleman spoke to Michigan News Network this week. The 16th House District Democrat says the bill is working its way through committee.
