Sithembile Dube, 21, of Berrien Springs, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2022. Fondly called “Sithe”, she was born to the union of Mary and late Arnold Dube in Chitipa, Malawi, Africa.
Seeking for further education the late pastor Arnold Dube came to Andrews University in 2009 having left his wife Mary and the two children Sithembile and Dumisani back in Malawi.
After one year, Mary and the two children arrived in the United States of America and joined Arnold in 2010. Sithembile had passion in whatever she did. She was a brilliant student and excelled well in school. She graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 2018 with honors. Then proceeded to Central Michigan University where she was studying Clinical Psychology and maintained her high honors in all her classes. She would be graduating next month in May.
Sithembile loved her family. Her mother was her confidant. She was very protective of her brother Dumi. She loved to sing; and sports was her hobby. And above all, she loved the Lord.
She is survived by her mother Mary, brother Dumisani, Gogo Mbizi, grandparents, aunt Tapiwa and a host of cousins, aunties, uncles, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother and father – Pastor Arnold Dube. Sithembile will be laid to rest next to her father at Rosehill Cemetery in Berrien Springs till the Great wake up morning.
