With a shortage of healthcare workers nationwide, Lake Michigan College is planning a virtual information session for next month on the healthcare career programs it offers. LMC says its Allied Health Information Sessions will run from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12 and again at the same time on Wednesday, April 13 through Zoom. LMC Director of Health Sciences LaToya Mason and Health Sciences Advisor Ken Kettler will talk about Lake Michigan College’s medical assisting, pharmacy technician, and phlebotomy technician programs. The session is to help students to gain an understanding of the courses needed for a degree or certificate, program requirements, and career outlook. You can register online.
