” As you look around, reflect, and take heed, you might think with regret that we failed to succeed. I want you to know that’s not so it can’t be for you now have an angel in me.”

Gloria (Katrina) Rollins Lee earned her wings on February 21, 2022, unexpectedly with an abundance of love around her.

Katrina was born April 25, 1956, to Ms. Gloria A Rollins and John T Burton in Chicago, Illinois. At an early age, Katrina and her loving family moved to South Haven, Michigan, where she received a middle school and high school education.

Katrina decided to educate herself further. In the eighties, attending Lake Michigan College, earning a degree in Banking and Account Management. She fulfilled her career in banking and customer relations and later became a Compliance Manager. What an accomplishment!

Katrina loved God; life, her family, friends, and yes that love was reciprocated!  In the 1970’s she accepted Christ as Lord in Savior at Reed Temple, COGIC, where she faithfully served in ministry as a choir member, usher, nurse, radio broadcasting, and Bible Study teacher

Throughout her life, Katrina also served other ministries as a Bible study teacher missionary, and assistant pastor. She loved fellowship, praise worship, and ministering to others. She was known as a true woman of God, loving, and serving the Lord wholeheartedly. Katrina’ the definition of “A soldier in the Army of the Lord!”

Katrina enjoyed charity outdoor events and spending time with others sharing joy laughter, especially during holidays. I’m sure we can agree we loved the taste of her sweet potato pies. A woman of many talents baking was her specialty she’s known for making the Best Blueberry peach and Apple Cobbler!

Katrina approached life compassionately, her joy, kind spirit, and enthusiasm left an everlasting impression in our hearts, leading with love peace, and strength. Her passion for life blossomed as a wife, mother, grandmother (Ga-Ga) sister, aunt, a loving companion, and friend.
