Pastor Mark A. Jones

Services celebrating his life will be held at 1 PM on Friday, Sept 24, at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Believers Fellowship, PO Box 921, Watervliet, MI. The visitation will begin at Noon on Friday at the Davidson Chapel. Mark was born on Aug 28, 1946 in St. Joseph to Morris and Marie Jones. He married his wife, Bonnie, on Dec 15, 1978 and she preceded him in death on November 15, 2020. Together they celebrated 42 years of marriage. In addition to being the Pastor at the Believers Fellowship, Mark was a carpenter who enjoyed working with his hands and doing wood working. He and his wife founded the Believers Fellowship in 1999. A big part of his life was his role as pastor of the Fellowship and he was always helping other people.

His family includes his sisters, Lynette (Mark) Onken of Stevensville and Deana (Hughie) Slane of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Patricia Strejc.
