Open for business is the new Bronson South Haven Hospital. Chief Operating Officer Matthew Dommer tells WSJM News the $22 million, 52,000 square foot facility replaces the former hospital in South Haven, which would have been too difficult to upgrade. The new facility is designed for energy efficiency and a better patient experience.
“The name of the game is efficiency,” Dommer said. “The providers and staff are really excited to be able to concentrate more on delivering compassionate care that doing day to day work that’s been made much easier.”
Dommer says Bronson broke ground in 2019, and the new hospital opened on Tuesday. The old building will be torn down. The new hospital was designed to be upgradable as the medical field advances. It’s located east of the old hospital off Blue Star Highway and South Bailey Avenue.
