The United Way of Southwest Michigan is celebrating those who help shape the community in a new way this month due to COVID-19. The organization’s usual celebration, which was set for March, had to be canceled this year due to the pandemic, and that’s how Celebration 2.0 was born. The United Way says staff this week delivered Celebration 2.0 boxes to award winners. The Hollywood-style boxes, designed in a Roaring ’20s style, contained success stories that would have been premiered at the normal Celebration, awards celebrating the winners, and other goodies. The award winners have also been celebrated with a video hosted by Jonny Reinhardt and Matt Malone of 97.5 Y-Country, who reprised their roles from last year’s celebration.
