Deborah M. “Debbie” Ives, 65, of Stevensville, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at her home.

Debbie was born on June 16, 1953, to Roy & Elizabeth (Rybarczyk) Ives in St. Joseph. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Schools and graduated from Lakeshore High School. Debbie worked as a material handler at Michigan Fruit Canners Co. for 10 years and then as a coating specialist for 20 years at Hayworth Inc. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved tending to the yard and taking care of her flowers. Debbie enjoyed American Indian culture and proudly collected and wore items to represent that culture. She was an avid fan of Notre Dame Sports. Most of all, she loved to spend her time with her family and was known for her loving heart and generosity in helping her neighbors.
Debbie is survived by her mother Elizabeth Ives of Stevensville; sons, Clayton Finley of Grand Junction, MI, Jason (Amy) Finley of Hartford and Ryan Finley of Bangor; grandchildren, Devin, Haden, Brylee, Lincoln, Cessie, Elizabeth and Gemma; siblings, Cathleen (Fred) Fenrick of St. Joseph, Stephen (Annelise) Ives of Rockford, IL, Susan (Chuck) Fox of Stevensville, Jeff Ives of Austell, GA and Chris Ives of Stevensville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father Roy Ives.
