Virginia Anne Watson, 74, of Pipestone Township died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 25, 2019.
Services celebrating her life will be Saturday, March 30, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Sodus, with visitation at 11 a.m. and services at noon. Cremation has taken place. Online messages www.bowermanfuneral.com.
Virginia was born on October 14, 1944 in Benton Harbor to Louie and Laverne Maxfield. She married C. Eddie Watson in 1962 and they were married 54 years. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Virginia was a homemaker while being a mother to her four children, loved restoring antique furniture, attending ceramic classes while socializing, and giving her ceramic creations to her family. She was a passionate gardener, loved to read, and enjoyed watching HGTV and Hallmark shows. Virginia was a collector, her favorites being Coca-Cola and Boyd Bears.
Her family includes her children: Deb (John) Normandin of Holton, Mich., Eddy (Heather) Watson of Eau Claire, and Bob (Sarah) Watson, of St. Charles, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her brother, Louie (Ann) Maxfield of Nappanee; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C. Eddie Watson; daughter, Jennifer McClure; and sister, Mary Jane Carlson.
