Vera Agnes Conway, 83 of Stevensville, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Hanson Hospice Center.
A funeral will be held at 11AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Road, Stevensville, with Reverend Brett Ehlke officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 2 – 4 PM Sunday, at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, the Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Vera was born Friday, August 23, 1935 in Stevensville the daughter of the late Gustav and Amelia (Binger) Gaul. She married William E. Conway on October 25, 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2014. Vera worked at Heathkit in St. Joseph. She was a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church. Vera and her husband were avid polka dancers.
Survivors include her siblings: Irene Ogonowski, Arnold (Adeline) Gaul, August “Sam” (Jeannette) Gaul, and many nieces and nephews.
Vera was also preceded in death by siblings: Louise Mast, Margaret Williams, Albert Gaul, and Herbert Gaul.
