Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a pharmaceutical delivery driver in Benton Township on Thursday morning. The Benton Township Police Department tells us it happened outside of the Walgreen’s store on Napier Avenue around 9:30. The pharmaceutical delivery driver had been loading some medications into the store when he was attacked by two men with baseball bats. They hit him on the head and legs and made off with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs. The suspects are described as two black males who were wearing dark clothing and white bandannas at the time. They were last seen on Napier Avenue in a green Toyota SUV. They have not been found. Police say the delivery driver was treated by Medic 1 at the scene. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Benton Township Police Department.
