Whirlpool Corporation’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Larry Venturelli is planning to step aside and retire early next year after 15 years with the world’s largest home appliance maker. The Benton Harbor-based company says he will be succeeded by Jim Peters on August 1. The transition has been planned, and Chairman and CEO Jeff Fettig says Peters is well-suited for the role given his global experience and strong financial background. Venturelli plans to serve on outside boards and spend more time with his family after leaving Whirlpool in 2017.
