Members of the Benton Harbor High School football team now have memories of a trip of a lifetime.
The Tigers went on their all-expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World this past weekend, which was given to them following their “Cinderella Story” season in 2015.
“It’s amazing,” said Benton Harbor football player Trayveion Henderson. “I wish I could put it all into words, but it’s just a great experience.”
The team got to enjoy just about all the experiences the park has to offer, from meeting Mickey Mouse, to going on Splash Mountain and seeing the nighttime fireworks and parades.
“What I’m seeing is young men laughing, smiling, and experiencing something they’ve never experienced, they never thought they would experience, so it’s super special to them,” said head coach Elliot Uzelac.
The Tigers had their first winning season since 1989, and won the first playoff game in school history last year.
