The incident is now clear.
Update: The driver was able to get out of the truck safely before the cab caught fire. The truck is in the process of being towed. Traffic was down to one lane while crews put out the fire. The semi was not involved in an accident and it appears the fire was in the cab of the truck.
The right lane of eastbound I-94 is blocked due to a Semi-truck fire. WSJM’s Michael Arney is on the scene and reports the semi is on the shoulder of I-94 just past the 196 exit. The fire appears to be out, but there is foam on the roadway. WSJM News is not aware of any injuries and will continue to update the situation.
