A life-changing jackpot is now in the hands of 50-year-old Julie Leach of Three Rivers. She has claimed the $310 million Powerball jackpot from last week and says she quit her job almost as soon as she realized the winning ticket was in her hands.

Leach worked at a fiberglass factory in Three Rivers for nearly 23 years. As for her plans, she says she and her boyfriend of 36 years are going to buy land “somewhere in Michigan” and build a new home.
