After 30 years in business, Lunker’s and Angler’s Inn is out of business in Edwardsburg. Rumors had been whispered for months that the business was in trouble, and both have closed immediately. An investor had given some relief to the financial troubles that started during the recession, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the doors from being locked for good Thursday morning. On the Facebook page for the businesses, people are anger about layaways purchased just days ago. Lunker’s had announced a hot dog eating contest for June 15 last week. Attempts by WSJM News to reach the owners of Lunker’s and Angler’s Inn have not yet been successful.
