 Zack East has been with Mid-West Family Broadcasting in various capacities ranging from Programming Assistant, Promotions Assistant and has done on-air work for sister stations WIRX, The Coast and Y-Country. In addition to having News Anchor duties, Zack is the Program Director of Rock 107 WIRX.
Zack has worked in radio for over 7 years in both College and here in Michigan's Great Southwest. He has also done some stints in Big Rapids, Michigan, home of his alma matter, Ferris State University. Additionally, Zack has done correspondent work for "The Sunday Papers" radio show on WGN Radio Chicago, and even co-hosted a show on the station in 2003.
He currently resides closer to Sawyer and New Buffalo in "Lakeside." Zack graduated from River Valley High School in '02 and occasionally does some sports announcing on the campus. He is especially known for his continuing role as the house announcer for River Valley's boys basketball games.
Zack is also a professional voiceover artist, lending his voice to stations across the US and Canada. He can currently be heard as the "voice guy" of Big Rapids Hot AC station "Y-102," and has also done freelance work for companies like Amtrak, Ferris State University, and the University of Notre Dame.
