ay construction of new refineries in the U.S. would help bring gas prices down, so why not build one in Michigan?
Kalamazoo Representative Jack Hoogendyk says it's a good idea --although a long shot, at best, without Governor Jennifer Granholm's support.
And those tax breaks and other incentives are the deals that usually make or break any business' decision to locate in a specific state. Pump prices are up more than $.19 from last week in southwest Michigan, hitting $4 a gallon at some stations.
