A residence hall at Andrews University was evacuated briefly on Monday when a fire broke out in a strudent's room. Andrews University Public Safety Director Dale Hodges says that the Eau Claire and Berrien Springs-Oronoko Township fire departments were dispatched to the scene when the fire started in a microwave oven at Meier Hall. The fire was quickly contained and the damage was confined to one room. There were no injuries reported.
