State police are advising motorists that traffic on I-94 near Benton Harbor and Saint Joseph will be affected all weekend by road work. On Friday, May 9th, both eastbound and westbound traffic on 94 at the Saint Joe River Bridge, between Niles Avenue (Exit 27) and M-139 (Exit 28), will be shut down completely for about ten minutes starting at seven PM. Even after it's reopened, however, traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction for the rest of the weekend. Drivers are encouraged to find another route during that time.
