The Local Revenue Sharing Board for the Four Winds Casino has accepted the resignation of the New Buffalo School district. The district recently announced its decision to leave the board after disputes over its bylaws...and LRSB Chairman Larry Clymer said on Monday that the board is now seeking a replacement member. Over the last two weeks, the board only received one letter of interest -- from Chikaming Township -- so they've extended the deadline for communities interested by two weeks. He says while the situation remains unresolved, the LRSB can continue meeting to handle administrative business. However, it can't distribute any money without all three members present.
