Berrien Springs Police Chief Named Prez of Chief Association

The Berrien Springs-Oronoko Township police chief has been named President of the West Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police. Chief Milton Agay (ag-ee) was elected to the post last week. He says the organization represents the police interests of communities in over 20 Michigan counties in Lansing...and often, they share concerns. Right now, the biggest thing is reduced funding from the state:

Agay has been Berrien Springs police chief for about a year. Before that, he was Public Safety Director for the city of Benton Harbor.
