BH Man Charged in Sturgis Drug Death
AP Reporting
|
An arrest has been made in connection with the suspicious death of a Sturgis man early this year. Police say 18-year-old Joshua Filan died on January Eighth after police say he took an overdose of heroin while with friends in Grand Rapids. An autopsy determined Filan died from Morphine intoxication. Investigators believe 35-year-old Christopher Cummings of Benton Harbor sold the heroin that led to Filan's death. He's been charged with delivery of a controlled substance, less than 50 grams of heroin, and habitual offender - fourth offense. Cummings is being held in the Kent County Jail without bond.
