Enrollment is up at Andrews University this year. According to the Fall 2008 numbers, the school in Berrien Springs will see its highest enrollment since 1990, with over 34-hundred students. That's an increase of about six percent, or 198 students, over last year...and the Freshman class alone is the largest they've had at Andrews in over 20 years. Vice President of Enrollment Steven Payne says that the university is benefiting from a wave of entering freshmen that's growing nationwide, which they expect to peak next year. He also says that Andrews is getting a lot of new students from other parts of the country, like the Pacific Northwest.
