The City of Benton Harbor has been awarded a grant from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development to implementYouthBuild programs. Mayor Wilce Cooke says that he was notified of the 310-thousand dollar grant this month...and details on how it will be spent will be worked out soon:

YouthBuild is a program that provides job training and other life skills to young people between 18 and 24. Cooke says that the city will use the grant to set up programs with that goal this summer.
