Nora B. Boone, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, in St. Joseph, Michigan, at the age of 94. Born on March 5, 1930, to the late Henry and Cynthia Warren, Nora’s life was a tapestry of dedication, family, and spirited joy, woven with the threads of her many passions and the love she shared with those around her.

Nora’s journey began in the heart of the Midwest, one among 9 siblings, all of whom predeceased her. Her life was forever changed when she married her soulmate, Clyde Milton Boone, Sr., on March 22, 1946. Their love story was one for the ages, and together they built a family founded on warmth and generosity. Though Clyde Sr. passed before her, their legacy continued through their children: April (Russell) Griffin, Charlene (Vincent) Price, Dale (Patricia) Boone, Clyde Boone, Jr., and the late Jerry Boone. Nora was the proud matriarch to ten grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carried a piece of her heart.

Nora’s life was marked by her enduring spirit and her ability to nurture not only her family but also the beauty of the world around her. As an avid quilter and crochet enthusiast, she created countless pieces of art that warmed the homes and hearts of many. Her love for sudoku and crossword puzzles reflected her sharp mind and her enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. Nora’s flower garden was a testament to her patience and her ability to cultivate beauty in every corner of her life.

Nora was the Nexus for family news and its historian. She loved to keep up with all the family and if ever anyone had a question they could always count on Nora for the answer.

Described by those who knew her as loving and selfless, Nora’s spirit was a guiding light for her family. Her unwavering support and boundless energy were the foundation upon which her family thrived. She was a woman of great character, whose actions spoke volumes of her love and commitment to those she held dear.
