Willie Frank Taylor Jr. 74 of Benton Harbor, MI affectionally known as “Firebird” or “Uncle Jr.” departed this life on June 25, 2024, at Corewell Health Lakeland, St. Joseph, MI.
Willie Frank Taylor Jr. was born on June 29, 1949, in White Castle, Louisiana to Frank Taylor Sr. and Rose Lee Bowels.
Willie was proceeded in death by his parents Frank Taylor Sr. and Rose Lee Bowels and one sister Louise Ray.
Willie loved old classic cars and car racing. Willie also loved to go to the casino. If Willie couldn’t be found, all we had to do was go to the casino and there you will find him. Willie worked numerous jobs, but he retired from Wollen Products in 2000.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Jimmy Taylor of Niles, MI, Michael Taylor, Demetrius and Keke Sloan all of Benton Harbor, MI; two daughters, Marquita Taylor, and Kendra Taylor of Mississippi and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
