Arlene Ramona Freyer, 92 of Sawyer passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Caretel Inns St. Joseph A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, July 1, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer with Pastor Brandon Wittig officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Sawyer. Arlene was born December 25, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of the late John and Alice (Selles) Price. On July 22, 1950 she married William Freyer and he preceded her on November 13, 2017. Arlene retired from Tru Die Casting in New Troy. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sawyer, enjoyed bird watching and the fellowship with the ladies quilting at the church. Survivors include her son: William (Donna) Freyer, Jr.; daughters: Alice Scott and Shirley Bennett; four grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Arlene was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Andrew Scott; grandson: Isaac Finley, great granddaughter: Hailey Zielke; brother: John G. Price and two sisters: Dorothy Hiska and Alice Rush.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
