Set for July 27 is the Mitten Children Museum’s annual Playpalooza fundraiser in South Haven, featuring dinosaurs at Riverfront Park.

Museum Board President Pam Leiter tells us the event will be packed with family-friendly fun, including a “live” dinosaur show, ride-on dinosaur races, face painting, bounce houses, dinosaur-themed activities, and crafts, food and more. She says they’ll have one 19-foot animatronic T-Rex along with two dinosaur babies to wow all the spectators.

Leiter says last year’s Playpalooza was a hit.

It is a fundraiser, and the cost is $25 a person,” Leiter said. “There’ll be some food and just a lot of fun. Last year it was a big success and this year we’re hoping for more.”

Indiana-based T.A.G. Art Company is bringing the dinosaurs for a 30-minute live show and meet and greet with those who attend.

Playpalooza will be at Riverfront Park on Water Street in South Haven on July 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. You can learn more right here.
