A home suffered heavy damage in a fire in South Haven on Sunday.
South Haven Area Emergency Services says it responded to the scene in the 600 block of North Shore Drive around 10:35 a.m. to find flames coming out of a second floor window. No one was home at the time.
South Haven Police made first entry and rescued the family’s dog.
SHAES was able to get the fire under control with the help of fire departments from Bangor, Covert, and Ganges.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
