Passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.
Danny was born September 11, 1945 in Trumann, Arkansas the son of Dill and Elsie (Murphy) Hammons, and has lived in the Bangor area the majority of his life. He enjoyed working on computers, worked at Bohn Aluminum, and Mann Family Partnership. Danny and his wife, Judy were known as the family life coaches.
Surviving are his 2 children, Cindy (James) Weber of Bangor, Andy (Rebecca Lookingbill) Hammons of Bangor; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Bonnie, Reba, Shirley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Hammons in 2022; daughter in law, Sherry Hammons and 9 brothers and sisters.
The family will meet friends from 11 AM -12 noon, Monday, May 13, 2024 at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where the funeral will be at 12:00 with Bill Cossey officiating. Interment will follow in Monks Cemetery, Geneva Township.
