Rose Marie Care, Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to many passed away peacefully at her home in Gobles, Michigan on April 20, 2024. Born on November 2, 1944, in Big Rapids, she was the daughter of Jack and Katherine Heida.
Rose was married to the love of her life, Everett Care for 58 years. She had a strong faith and has been a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved working in her yard, camping with a burnt hot dog over a bonfire, wintering in Florida and cherished time with her family. She was always encouraging, making everyone she met smile and had a beautiful and kind soul.
Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett Care, three brothers and three sisters.
Rose is survived by her children, Bernadine (George) Fritz, Paula (Doug) Nielson, John (Heidi) Care, Garry, Everett Jr, and Tanya (Chuck) Uradzionek, her cherished grandchildren Emily, Carly, Bradley, Lauren, Ryan, Nicole, Lance, Taylor, Eric, Kristin, Alyssa, Dustin, Myranda, Jimmy, Abigail, Amber, Genevive and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family expresses appreciation to members of Wings of Hope Hospice, home caregivers and hospice staff, and the many physicians who participated in her care.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Philip Phifer officiating. A luncheon following the service will be held at church. Rose will be laid to rest at Tucker Cemetery, Bloomingdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
