Melinda Sue Spainhour, 59, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully, Saturday April 13, 2024, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born October 3, 1964 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the daughter of Leon Stroud and Dorothy (Martin) Stroud.
Melinda worked in the food service industry as a waitress for most of her career. She loved being able to interact with customers as talking was her favorite activity. She loved spending time with family and friends, camping, boating and adventuring.
Melinda is survived by her brother; Calvin Stroud and sister; Debra Ferguson, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Scott Spainhour, parents; Leon and Dorothy Stroud and brother; Jack Dulworth.
Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A memorial service will commence at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Packer officiating.
