Linda Kay Sadler, 72, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Niles, Michigan.
Linda was born on September 13, 1951 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Leroy Lawson and Helen Irene (Snyder) Lawson.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lawson, John Lawson, and Kenneth Lawson and sister, Barbara Lavey.
Left to cherish the memory of Linda are her daughters, Donna Sadler and Jammie (William) Padilla; granddaughter, Lauren Harringer; her twin brother, Larry Lawson and sisters, Patricia Lawson and Nancy Kessler.
Linda, known affectionately as Lucky the Clown to many in Niles, brought laughter and cheer wherever she went. Her love for entertaining was matched only by her passion for sewing, canvas crafts, and knitting. Her hands were rarely still, as they were often busy creating beautiful works of art or deftly solving the latest crossword puzzle.
Even when her voice wasn’t amplified by a karaoke machine, Linda was known for her humor and comic timing, and her funny sense of humor became a beacon of light for all who knew her. Behind her bright smile and infectious giggles, she demonstrated remarkable courage, facing her own struggles and pain with unwavering strength. Above all, Linda saw her greatest blessing in the cherished role of being a grandmother.
Linda’s relentless pursuit to spread joy never waned. Despite her challenges, she aimed to put a smile on someone’s face, illuminating the day-to-day life with her warmth. Linda’s legacy is one of laughter, kindness, and the enduring power of a positive spirit. She will be dearly missed by all the lives she has touched.
Visitation of Linda will be on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with a Memorial Service to be held at 6:00pm at Brown Funeral Home, 521 East Main St. Niles, MI 49120.
