Police are investigating after the discovery of a body in Chikaming Township on Wednesday. The Chikaming Township Police Department says officers found an unresponsive women in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle at the Sawyer Travel Centers of America just after 8 a.m. She was found to be deceased, and has been identified as 28-year-old Brandy Johnson of Illinois. The cause of death is unknown and is being investigated by the Berrien County Medical Examiner.
