A new housing development for tribal members of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi is now under construction near Hartford. A groundbreaking was held Wednesday at the site on Red Arrow Highway about a mile east of the Four Winds Hartford Casino. Tribal Chair John Warren says that the new tribal village will include eight townhomes and two duplexes, and additional phases are planned to add more housing and healthcare services. He says work at the development will probably continue for a decade.
