The Saint Joseph Township and Royalton Township Fire Departments were called out to the scene of a fire involving a semi that was hauling cars on Thursday night. The Royalton Township Fire Chief tells us that the call came in around 11:30 PM of the vehicle fire on I 94 near the Niles Road exit, right on the boundary of Saint Joe and Royalton Townships. It’s believed that the fire started in part of the truck’s trailer, and then it spread up to burn five of the nine cars being hauled.
